새해 첫 포스팅이 이렇게 우울해도 되는지 모르겠지만, 거의 용도폐기 수준의 블로그에 다시 글을 쓰고 싶게 만들어준 우리의 The Killers 에 감사.
2010년 초반 부터 어째 공연운이 너무 좋다 싶었다. 신년 벽두 부터 Muse에 Green Day에 The Killers까지, 정말 당대 내노라 하는 빅밴드의 내한 이었기에 정말 기대도 컸는데 현실은 시궁창.
Muse 내한공연은 그닥 썩 땡기진 않았지만 워낙 공연이 훌륭하다고 clotho형이 하도 자랑을 해대서 솔깃 했기도 했고, 전체적인 앨범은 썩 좋아하지 않지만 강렬하게 뇌리에 남아있는 몇몇 킬러 트랙이 있었기에 부푼 마음은 1월 7일만 기다리고 있었지만, 하필이면 그날이 회사서 준비하던 서비스의 오픈일로 결정되는 바람에 지인에게 콘서트 티켓을 눈물과 함께 양보 했다. (그 지인은 고마움을 주체 못해, 야근하고 있는 나에게 이제 곧 Muse공연 시작한다고 열기나 느껴보라며 현장에서 전화를 하는 만행을 저질렀더랬지 -_-;;; )

Muse공연 놓친 설움은 clotho아저씨가 블로그에 생애 최고의 공연이었다고 오버(!!!) 해놓은 Green Day 내한공연에서 다 풀어버렸다. 그래서 The Killers만 무사히 봐주면 올 한해 공연농사(?)의 시작치고는 Not Bad이라고 위안하고 있었는데, 이건 머 청천 벽력 같은 소식이 도착했다.
공연 불과 일주일 정도 앞두고 The Killers 내한공연 취소. 그나마 위안거리라면 우리나라만 취소 된 것이 아니라 아시아 투어 전체가 취소 되었다는 정도? The Killers 공식 홈페이지 가보니까 어떤 멤버의 가족이 병에 걸리는 등, 예상치 못한 사정 (Unforeseen Circumstances)이었다고는 하는데, 그래도 아쉬운건 아쉬운지라 댓글에 짧은 영어로 Are You Guys F**king Crazy? 라고 한마디 휘갈기고 분을 삭히는 중.

Chicago아저씨들도 오고, Jeff Beck옹도 오고, Whitney언냐도 오고, McKnight씨도 오지만서도 댄서블하게 즐길만한 컨서트는 없다는 점에서 이번 The Killers의 내한공연 취소는 더더욱 아쉬움이 남는다. 완소 John Mayer사마라도 와준다면야 슬픔을 딛고 그 날만 기다릴 수 있을 텐데...
정말 농담이 아니고 Somebody Told Me 나오면 정줄 놓으려고 완전 준비하고 있었다구. ㅜ_ㅜ

진짜 안타깝게 됐네요. 킬러스 공연은 unique 하기 때문에 더더욱 많은 분들이 기다리셨을 것 같은데... 휴 다음에 더 좋은 기회가 있겠죠 힘내세요 :)

전 원래 갈수도 가려고도 안 했던..우후후후..ㅡㅜ
근데 왜 우세요 -_-;;;
친구 중에는 뮤즈, 그린데이. 킬러스 중에서 킬러스로 정했는데..
그게 이렇게 부도가 났다며 정말로 슬퍼하더라구요...
암튼 저도 킬러스 공연 간다며 1, 2주 동안 킬러스 전 앨범 듣고 가사 좀 외우고 했었지요...그래서 이렇게 망연자실합니다.허허허...

사실..공연취소..예전에도 많았지요..
그런데 취소의 경우 이면을 들여다보면..
기획사잘못이 거의 다더군요.
그룹이나 가수들..아티스트들은 거의 잘못이 없는경우가 많았던것 같습니다..으으
이번에는 기획사 문제는 아니었던거 같아요.
아시아 투어 일정 자체가 날아가 버려서요...
한 기획사가 아시아 투어 전체를 기획 했을꺼 같진 않고요.
